Mycenaean idol of Psi ( Ψ ), Greek museum copy from Mycenae tomb of Agamemnon , Primitive neolithic civilization. Mycenaean female figurine, Clay, ca.1300-1150 BCE. Commonly seen with a folded or raised arm female figure. Psi - type work, meaning they were either made of ceramic or terracotta,and commonly found in tombs, shrines and settlement areas. This figure represented goddesses; related to fertility. Identical figurines found in children’s graves. Mycenaen: relating to late Bronze Age civilization in Greece represented by finds at Mycenae and other ancient cities of Peloponnesus.
